Paynesville & District Community Bank, located on The Esplanade in Paynesville opened its doors on 12th December 2005. In 7 ½ years of operation we have over 2300 customers and have business in excess of $80M.

We have proudly been involved with community initiatives which have greatly assisted community groups in our district including Ban the Bulb in conjunction with Paynesville Men’s Shed, Switch to Save in conjunction with Paynesville Primary School and our Community Forum with various sporting and community groups as well as local shire councillors.
Our partnership with East Gippsland Shire Council has assisted with community projects such as Paynesville’s Esplanade Blitz, The Paynesville Music Festival, East Gippsland Boat Show and East Gippsland Power Boat Races. We look forward to continuing this partnership to bring further developments to our district.
Since our opening in 2005 we have contributed in excess $200,000 back into our local communities assisting sporting clubs, community groups and schools including Paynesville Football Netball Club Inc., Paynesville Men’s Shed, Bairnsdale Golf Club, Paynesville Bowling Club, Newlands Arm Carpet Bowls, Paynesville Cricket Club Inc., Paynesville Primary School, Eagle Point Primary School, Paynesville & District Kindergarten, Paynesville Childcare, Eagle Point Community Hall, Raymond Island Koala Trail, Paynesville Community Craft Centre and East Gippsland Corporate Triathlon.
